CONCORD, N.H. – Sixteen community leaders from across New Hampshire are graduating this week from Community Leadership, a training program held by ROC-NH.

The program, held annually an open to anyone living in a New Hampshire resident-owned community, is a series of training workshops that combines education, networking and practical application. It is a down-to-earth approach to skill building that gives ROC Members the tools and strategies they need to be successful leaders in their communities and beyond.  ROC-NH Leadership Graduation logo

Staff at ROC-NH, the ROC USA® Network affiliate in New Hampshire, cover topics such as team building, Member engagement, effective communications, conflict resolution and long-term planning.

Graduates can even convert their successful program completion into college credit through a unique partnership between the Community Loan Fund (of which ROC-NH is a program) and Granit State College.

Paul Bradley, president of ROC USA® and former vice president at the Community Loan Fund, is the keynote speaker at this year’s graduation ceremonies, set for Friday at the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord.

“There are few things as important to the long-term health of a resident-owned community than a pool of well-trained leaders willing to give their time and effort,” Bradley said. “The ROC-NH leadership training is superb, and both these ROC leaders and their communities will benefit from the experience.”
